Custom 3D printed Prince Eric
Statue created for “Little Mermaid”
produced at McKinney Boyd Theatre
The model was custom designed and split into 36 individual pieces that could be 3D printed on a desk top printer.
After completing all of the prints the model pieces were glued together and the seams filled and sanded.
After the piece was filled and sanded I painted it to look like a stone. I then drove the piece to Dallas Texas where the statue went on stage.
