While studying at Boston University, Kyle worked for the American Repertory Theater from 2012 to 2014. During his time with A.R.T., Kyle had the opportunity to work on several Tony Award winning shows, including The Glass Menagerie, All the Way and Pippin. His roles included working as a Carpenter, Draftsman, Automation Engineer, Rigging Specialist and CNC Operator.
